Ahead of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s arrival this week, 20 minutes of Zombies mode gameplay leaked
The Call of Duty franchise is set to expand again this week. Vanguard will arrive on November 5th on PC. One of the most anticipated modes by fans of the brand is certainly Zombies, shown with a reveal trailer last month, developed by Treyarch instead of Sledgehammer Games, which is dealing with the Campaign and the Multiplayer mode. Announced as a narrative prequel to that present a Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard’s Zombies mode will pick up on the Dark Aether story arc, to delve even further into the lore and further innovate the gameplay that has made the mode famous since the days of World at War.
As already happened for the reveal trailer, in the past few hours about 20 minutes of Zombies mode gameplay was leaked. The video, which we leave you halfway through the article, is actually an off-screen shot, so don’t expect who knows what visual quality. However, it gives the possibility to throw a rather extensive look at what are the mechanics introduced by Treyarch, and also gives a good idea of the progress made compared to Black Ops Cold War. Vanguard seems to want to be a new starting point for the franchise, as a whole. In the past few days, some of the title writers have also voiced the willingness to create two sequels. We will see, next November 5th, if indeed the quality thrown by Treyarch and Sledgehammer in this new Call of Duty will live up to expectations.
