NetApp and Ducati: the team from Borgo Panigale (Bologna), constructors’ world champion in MotoGP in 2022, and the international company that works on data and cloud, renew their technical and commercial agreements for work within the World Championship.
NetApp, a global data-driven and cloud-centric company, announced at the end of the MotoGP 2021 World Championship race in Valencia that it will continue to collaborate with the Ducati Cor teamself. In fact, for the next two years, NetApp will contribute to the growth and efficiency of Ducati’s performance in the Moto GP world championship, the most prestigious motorcycle competition in the world.
The collaboration between Ducati (part of the Volkswagen Group), in particular with its Ducati Corse division, and NetApp started in 2018 with the aim of exploiting the full potential of data in the world of racing motorcycle. NetApp and Ducati are expanding their collaboration to accelerate digital transformation:
– Optimizing the design with 3D techniques in the context of complex projects, implementing a new virtual desktop environment, which facilitates collaboration between engineers and developers, to manage, exploit and store data more securely and easily, using the object storage capabilities of NetApp StorageGRID;
– Automating the flow of data between the various teams before, during and after the races, both on
