The third edition of the Bloody Festival Rome is coming, with testimonial Dario Argento and godmother Manuela Arcuri
The third edition of the Bloody Festival Rome is coming! It will take place on November 29, 2021 at New Aquila Cinema in Rome, organized by L. Armonia Associazione. The festival was born from the ashes of what was the Italian Horror Fest of Nettuno, conceived by the Mayor of the time Alessio Chiavetta, today however in the organizational structure. A festival, that of Neptune, which saw as testimonial, since the first edition, Dario Argento. Recently engaged in the filming of Black Glasses, which marks his long-awaited return to the big screen after many years of absence, the Master of Italian thrilling will also be the testimonial of this new edition of the Bloody Festival Rome. The godmother of this edition will be Manuela Arcuri and the sponsor is Sergio Romoli’s ZTV Production.
The titles in competition at the Bloody Festival Rome 2021
Three sections (Horror, Thriller and Thriller) divide the titles in competition. The latter are respectively: Clara by Francesco Longo, Stillbirths by Alex Visani, The Man with the Top Hat by Stefano Simone, Yuria by Mattia Riccio and Italian horror stories, episodic films directed by Antonio Losito, Daniele Malavolta, Andrea D’Emilio, Vincenzo Della Corte Gianluca Bonucci and Francesco Giorgi under the supervision of Claudio Fragasso. But there will also be plenty of room for short films. The latter will be awarded with special cobblestones by a quality jury made up of professionals of the Seventh Art.
The jury
The jurors are the producer Carla Finelli, the financial manager Sonia Giacometti, the director and screenwriter Giovanni Galletta, the painter Roberto Russo, the make-up artist Isabella Morelli, the set designer Arturo Andreoli, Angelo Interlenghi, organizer of all Federico Fellini’s films. and Dario Argento, and the actors Eleonora Pariante, Antonella Interlenghi, Giulio Neglia and Claudio Collevecchio.
There will also be different screenings out of competition. Among them are Abisso nero, a zombie movie by Gaetano Russo; the promo of Gotico Padano, a documentary by Roberto Leggio focusing on The house with laughing windows by Pupi Avati; and Double Light by Laszlo Barbo.
What’s new in this edition is also the Roberto Pariante Lifetime Achievement Award. The prize will be awarded to Claudio Fragasso. The actor and artist Stefano Natale is responsible for the realization of the prizes for this appointment with Bloody Festival Rome, which will give, as always, many pleasant shivers of fear to all fans of horror and mystery.
