L’update today’s of Telegram brings tools to prevent others from save content in groups and channels, the possibility of delete messages from specific dates and much more. Let’s find out all the details together.
The new Telegram update
Below is the list of all the new features available on Telegram following the new update.
- Protected content in groups and channels: With this update, Telegram wants to help creators protect the content they post on the platform and ensure that it is only available to the audience it is intended for. Group and channel owners who want to keep their content for members only can restrict message forwarding from their chat. This also prevents screenshots and limits the ability to save media from posts.
- Delete messages by date: Telegram users can delete any message from a conversation at any time. With this update, you can clear chat history from a specific day or date range in any one-to-one chat.
- Manage connected devices: users can use Telegram on all their devices at the same time. The Devices menu helps them check where their account is connected. Telegram has added a new button to quickly connect a desktop device and a setting to automatically disconnect inactive devices.
- Text recognition: On devices with iOS 13 and above, Live Text recognition is enabled for photos in Telegram chats, allowing users to quickly select, copy and search without touching the keyboard. This image recognition is handled securely entirely on the devices.
- New ways to access by call: Starting today, some mobile devices will be offered the ability to receive an access call from Telegram and then enter a few digits of the phone number they called – instead of receiving codes via SMS.
