Although it seems that there is still a long way to go at the exit of the Samsung Galaxy S22, here are already some interesting indiscretions leaked on the Net. A recent video from Unbox Therapy, in fact, previewed what appear to be the three models of the company’s new series. And despite the content being deleted abruptly, 9to5Google managed to capture a screenshot of it. So this allows us to get an idea of what the design of Samsung’s new smartphone will be. Let’s find out what it is about in more detail.
Samsung Galaxy S22: preview details revealed
As anticipated, a recent video from Unbox Therapy showed images of the new smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series for the first time. More specifically, it should be theS22 base, dell’S22 Ultra and22 Plus, although we are not sure that the names of the models will really be these. In any case, it would appear that the 22 and 22 Plus have a design very similar to that of the S21, complete with an embossed camera layout, positioned at the top left of the back of the smartphone. And in both cases there would seem to be one triple camera configuration.
But that is not all. Some technical specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy S22 series have also been leaked onto the Net recently. The base model, for example, could come on the market with a 6.1-inch display, while theS22 Pluss should have a 6.5-inch display. Both models, however, should be equipped with one 50MP main camera, associated with an ultrawide camera and a telephoto lens. As for theS22 Ultra, instead, it seems that the smartphone has a design in all respects similar to that of the old Galaxy Note, complete with a square design and support for the S Pen. This one, unlike the others, will feature one four-camera configuration: a 108MP main, a 12MP ultrawide, a 3x 10MP telephoto lens and a 10x 10MP periscope.
What is interesting to note is that the data sheet leaked on the Net suggests that the main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra may have a lens made of “Super Clear Glass“. Apparently, this new lens could be designed to reduce the appearance of small bright spots that can appear in the camera’s night shots. Finally, WinFuture’s Roland Quandt shared pictures of what it appears to be a quick charger for the S22 Ultra. This would appear to be 45W, with only one USB-C charging port, which would mean having a speed boost over the previous S21 Ultra.
In any case, it is currently unclear when the new Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be announced. The previous S21 series was unveiled in January, but the company usually prefers the month of February. But chip shortages and supply chain problems don’t make a prediction possible. In the meantime, therefore, let’s be satisfied with this preview news.
