Nintendo recently released a new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which delves into some new elements that will appear in the game. The trailer shows several new environments and how players will be able to use the moves flying and surfing to move quickly in the region. It also details several changes that have been made to the Pokédex. In the video there is also some battle against ruthless wild Pokémon and this helps us to better understand how the clashes work in this new chapter.
New trailer full of news for Pokémon Legends: Arceus
From the trailer, one of the biggest changes that will appear in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is how players will be able to catch Pokémon. The video specifically shows several examples of how players will be able to capture their favorite creatures. They will be able to do so furtive, or fighting openlyand the Pokémon they want to get. But beware, after infuriating a wild Pokémon, players they will have to deftly dodge all attacks thrown at them. Players can then choose to throw their Pokémon to defend themselves and challenge wild monsters to battle. Similar to previous titles, weakening Pokémon will allow them to be caught more easily.
The news does not end there, in fact, players will be able to carry out missions while completing their Pokédex to receive various rewards. The trailer reveals that there are several secondary objectives for every single Pokemon. For example, we can see that Wurmple’s secondary objectives can be the number of specimens captured, the number of “light” sized specimens obtained and many others. The trailer also offers a brief look at the ranch of Pokémon that will be featured in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Recall that the game will be launched on the Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022.
