In fact, Dying Light 2 is an experience that also includes one co-op multiplayer mode for four people, and fans of the title were hoping for the presence of the cross-play to be able to play with your friends who own different platforms. Apparently, however, this feature will not be present at launch. During a question and answer session, the game’s creative director, Tymon Smektala, confirmed that this option will not be present at launch, and indeed has also specified that players of the same family of consoles, namely Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One, PS5 and PS4, will not be able to play together when the game is released. However, Smektala confirmed that the team is working to implement at least this second possibility as soon as possible.

Dying Light 2 is the sequel to the title released in 2015, set in a post apocalyptic world overrun by zombies where humanity must find a way to survive. The peculiarity of this first-person action is given by the fast movements in stile parkour, and from the day / night cycle: during the day zombies are easier to eliminate and you can move around with relative ease, while at night the danger increases due to Nocturnes, special zombies much stronger and more dangerous than normal ones that only come out when it’s dark. The second chapter promises a much more complex plot and full of options, although Techland has retracted over the duration of the campaign; the developer also promised support for the title for a full 5 years after its release.
