A brand new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West reveals the actors who will form the cast of this second installment
While Microsoft is hoarding famous studios, Sony seems to remain focused on the development and dissemination of its PlayStation exclusives as the primary method of gaining favor with users. In January, PC players were graced by the arrival of God of War, the title that reboots the famous saga of the furious Kratos, this time taking place in an environment totally foreign to Greek mythology. Also, again this month Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is expected to be released, a collection that will contain in a comprehensive way the entire adventure of Nathan Drake. In addition, February will also be an important month for PlayStation titles: In fact, the long-awaited Horizon Forbidden West, sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, will arrive, and for the occasion, two trailers have recently been released, one of which is going to present the cast that we will meet in the game.
The trailer for the cast of Horizon Forbidden West
As mentioned, a few hours ago Guerrilla Games released new video trailers of Horizon Forbidden West: one outlines the story that will characterize the game, also allowing you to take a general look not only at the setting already detailed several times in the past months, but also to the enemies and the reasons that push them to clash with the protagonist Aloy. The second trailer, however, introduces the cast of Horizon Forbidden West, with the various voice actors showing what players can expect from the game. The video begins with Aloy’s voice actress Ashly Burch: she declares that this time Aloy will have to take on a new role as world savior, to then talk about the relationship between Aloy and Sylens. Sylens will be voiced by Lance Reddick, who speaks in the trailer for the “egomaniacal” personality that his character possesses, and how it will affect interactions in the Wild West.
In the trailer we can meet the voice actor of the new character Kotallo, Noshir Dalal. Kotallo he runs into Aloy at a time when her life is at a critical point: its leader wants a peaceful alliance in the Forbidden West, and so it is his mission to fulfill this cause. Together with Kotallo there will also be Tilda, whose voice is donated by the well known Carrie-Anne Mosse, already seen in the Matrix. The actress claims that Tilda is a rather dynamic character who possesses numerous mysteries. Varl will return later, voiced by John Macmillan, and in the sequel to Horizon he will show himself more mature and evolved, willing to challenge Aloy when necessary. Finally, John Hopkins and Erend return as well, having to deal with Aloy’s disappearance at the end of the first game.
