Released 8 new images straight from Bridgerton Season 2
On January 19th Netflix and Shondaland have decided to release a preview of eight images taken from the second season of Bridgerton that allow us to take a little peek at what will be told in the next, highly anticipated season of this show. will debut on the platform starting next March 25th.
To stay in line with the novels, the second season will see Anthony Bridgerton as the main protagonist, the eldest of the brothers, looking for a bride.
The series comes to Netflix directly from Shondaland, and is produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers e Chris Van Dusen, who is also the creator and showrunner for Bridgerton.
The plot
From the ideas of Chris Van Dusen and the creativity of Shondaland we will follow, next season, the eldest of the Bridgerton brothers, Viscount Anthony, on his journey in search of love, which must necessarily also be a suitable wife. Guided by his sense of duty in safeguarding his family name, Anthony’s search for a rookie who meets his impossible standards seems doomed to fail, until Kate Sharma and her younger sister Edwina arrive from India.
Anthony thus begins to court Edwina, but his sister realizes that it is not really true love that motivates the viscount, so he begins to do everything to prevent their union. However, the their constant skirmishes only bring them closer and closer, complicating things for both of us.
Across Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome the new heir to their estate while Penelope continues to move for high society keeping her deepest secret hidden from the people who are closest to you.
Bridgerton, inspired by Julia Quinn’s novels, is a romantic, scandalous and witty series that celebrates the eternity of lasting friendships, families that find their way and the search for a love that triumphs over everything.
