The galaxy is no longer “far away”: the epic of the LEGO Star Wars Skywalkers reaches the gold phase, complete with official announcement
There isn’t much more to add to our title now that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is officially in fase gold. The youngest son of Traveller’s Tales, the talented development team to whom we owe most of our recent ranking, has reached the hoped-for milestone. The official account did not fail to congratulate the developers for their “galactic work”, explaining the meaning behind the golden metaphor even to the less accustomed to the sector lexicon. If you want a short explanation, it means that the rest of the work (for now) is no longer the responsibility of the developers.

In a nutshell, the title arriving on April 5th for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, PS4 and PS5 is ready to bring the Star Wars universe and the history of the Skywalker family in LEGO format to the general public at the same time as the development phase switch to “gold”. The basic development is therefore complete; the game is now early to finish on all physical media and for the necessary certifications of the case. Of course, we should still expect a day one patch. The tweet below is very clear on this. “Under with the theme of the throne! Kudos to the team for their galactic work. Small note: a game in the gold phase is ready to be shipped! “

The game intends to adapt all nine main films released so far, which are in turn divided into five missions. The playable characters will be about three hundred, and the planets that can be visited will include Tatooine, Bespin, Endor and many others. The change to the gameplay is the most intriguing news: the subdivision between weak and strong attacks will allow those who wield lightsabers to vary their moves a bit, while those who use blasters will implement a camera along the lines of Fortnite to aim better. We can’t wait to see what’s coming when the game is finally available.
