“Red”, the new Pixar movie on Disney +! It was initially supposed to be released in theaters, but saw it jump straight to the Disney streaming platform! Starting from March 11th we will be able to watch the colorful new feature film by Disney Pixar. 100 minutes of fantastic animation to watch from the comfort of our sofa!
The original title is “Turning Red”the very recent work Disney Pixar (2022). The launch date is upon us: 11 March, its Disney +! Young and old will be satisfied in this new, fun and profound animation. An adventure full of important contents like Pixar always knows how to give.
The emotions of Mei Lee
The thirteen year old Mei Lee, a little too clumsy, is struggling with herself: on the one hand she would like to remain a disciplined daughter, as she was as a child. On the other hand, she cannot ignore the chaotic universe ofadolescence imminent. Raised with her father and mother Ming, a decidedly too protective and at times severe parent who almost never lets his beloved daughter away. All this will give life to the classic ones misunderstandings e embarrassing moments experienced by girls all over the world.
The role and behavior of the mother, however, will not be the only elements with which Mei Lee will have to deal: in that phase of absurd and uncontrollable change, she will have to learn to support the evolution of his body and its metamorphosis. It would seem like an ordinary story, were it not for one small detail: whenever he gets embarrassed or is overwhelmed by excessively strong emotions, Mei Lee transforms into a huge red panda.
Absurd and unmanageable, Red it will turn out to be a complex likeness to ignore, especially since the young teenager is certainly a very emotional girl. Mei Lee will need to understand the nature of her embarrassments and understand the reasons for her feeling different and inadequate.
From the creators of “Inside Out” e “The Incredibles”, Red is directed by the Academy Award-winning director Domee Shi (Bao) and is manufactured by Lindsey Collins. The executive producer is Pete Docter and the productions that gave life to this new intense work are Pixar Animation Studios, H Brothers, HB Wink Animation e Walt Disney Pictures. The music has been entrusted to composer premium Oscar Ludwig Emil Tomas Göransson. The songs performed by the fake band in the feature film are borne by Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas.
