Chinese comau has conquered theExcellent Supplier Award 2021 which is attributed by Volvo Cars APAC to partners for the results achieved by the collaboration with the company. The award awarded by Volvo recognizes the excellence of Comau, a leading company in the construction of assembly plants and protagonist of the retooling of the production line of the new Volvo Recharge electric car arriving in 2022.

Comau has actively collaborated with Volvo Cars since the creation of the company’s first plant in China in 2013. Volvo Cars’ expansion process was able to count on the supply of assembly lines for bodies and powertrains installed by Comau in the factories of Daqing, Chengdu, Zhangjiakou e Luqiao.
Comau’s design team has also become an expert on Volvo’s standards for process simplification. Comau’s commitment was also instrumental in addressing the pandemic and its consequences. The award obtained by Comau was collected by Gaetano Cantalupo, Managing Director of Comau China at the Volvo Asia Pacific Key Supplier Forum 2022
