Dune: Spice Wars
For the first time in over twenty years, players will be able to enjoy a Dune-dedicated title with Dune: Spice Wars. Expectations from fans are very high. In fact, the title has climbed Steam’s wishlists since its announcement at The Game Awards 2021 in December.
Dune: Spice Wars brings players the result of a combination of real-time strategy and 4X elements. The production is directly based on Frank Herbert’s science fiction masterpiece, Dune. Are you ready to play the four factions against each other on the desert planet of Arrakis? Everyone wants the only source of the most precious resource in the universe: spice.
The fourth faction
Along with the Early Access release, comes the announcement of the fourth playable faction: the Fremen. The latter boasts a greater ability to move and resist in the desert, less chance of attracting colossal sandworms, and a better ability to ally with hidden Sietchs (neutral native settlements). The Fremen are ideally placed to expand their power and control the planet.
