Through a press release, Deep Silver and Prime Matter have announced the official release date of Outward: Definitive Edition for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S: let’s find out all the details together
When Nine Dots Studios and Deep Silver announced Outward we were a little perplexed. There are now plenty of hybrid titles and derivative mechanics on the market, and merging two genres such as survival and RPG was definitely not new. The risk of “already seen”, in short, was quite high, but let’s admit that, in the end, leaving out some naivety and some perplexity … We liked Outward. As announced by Prime Matter through a press release, in fact, Outward: Definitive Edition is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One and will be available starting May 17th.
Outward’s Definitive Edition allows experienced players to rediscover the base game with both DLCs – “Three Brothers” and “The Soroboreans” – along with a host of new and updated content. During the journey, you will experience unique encounters and dangerous enemies, in the midst of an exploration of the dungeons through the vast world of Outward. With the occasion, Deep Silver and Prime Matter have also disclosed a new trailer, which we leave you below.

For new players embarking on this journey for the first time, this is a golden opportunity to dive headfirst into all the adventures that the magical world of Aurai has to offer, whether as a single player experience or in co-op with a friend.
