realme the smartphone brand is confirmed in fastest growing in Europe and enters the Top 4 on the European market. Quarterly growth at the beginning of 2022 comes to +177%, with the brand ranking in the top five in 11 countries in the latest report by Canalys.
realme is still growing: it is in the Top 4 in Europe
realme closed 2021 as the fastest growing smartphone brand on our continent and seems willing to continue at this pace. In Western Europe the situation is particularly evident. In fact it goes up in average of +377%.
In Italy the brand grows by + 352%, better than in Spain (+ 223%) but less than in France (+ 443%). But the greatest achievement is in Germany: +2809%. This allows realme to rank fifth in Western European countries alone, with the 3% of the market. Ahead are Oppo (5%) and Xiaomi (15%, but down), while Apple (28%) and Samsung (36%) are firmly at the top.
In Eastern Europe, on the other hand, it grew by + 109%, especially in the Czech Republic, Greece and Slovenia. Here it has 8% of the market, like Apple, while Xiaomi (28%) and Samsung (33%) are the only ones with double digits. In fifth place the Chinese Transsion.
Credit for this continued growth, especially at a time of decline for many other companies, also lies in the new launches. In fact in the first quarter 2022 we saw the arrival of the first Serie 9 Prothe introduction of GT 2 and the arrival of the smartphone charging champion GT NEO 3.
With realme 9 Series and realme GT NEO 3 Series on the way, growth could continue next quarter.
