A well-known leaker has spoken in the final hours of CoD Warzone 2 and how, according to him, the game includes an interrogation mechanic
Il sequel to Call of Duty: Warzone is in development at Infinity Ward, and while Activision will present the battle royale shooter in full before the end of the year, some details about it have become available in the last couple of weeks thanks to leaks from insiders. Recently, the well-known insider Tom Henderson leaked details on the game map and new features and now another new report published by Henderson himself has also talked about other new mechanics. Well: it would seem that in CoD Warzone 2 there will be an option interrogation similar to that of Rainbow Six Siege.
CoD Warzone 2: Rainbow Six Siege interrogation?
According to Henderson, CoD Warzone 2 will feature a mechanic interrogation. The latter will be handled as an extension of the mechanics of executions existing; interrogations will presumably see players approaching downed enemies and, in a process that currently takes about six seconds, they will reveal the positions of teammates on the minimap before receiving the coup de grace.
Another feature that Henderson mentions is i bulletproof vests. Similarly to the mode Battle Royale from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 BlackoutWarzone 2 presumably will equip players with armored plates, which will first of all require you to have an armored vest. According to the report, the armor vests will be found in three total levels, with each level that will allow you to equip an additional plate. The vests will not take damage, but the plates will and, similar to the current Warzone, players will need to replenish them after taking hits.
Presumably there is also an inventory system similar to Blackout, albeit in a broader form, with comparisons to Escape from Tarkov. Equipped Bags will feature grid-style inventories where players will be tasked with placing and mounting weapons and items, higher tier bags, kill streaks, and more. It’s possible that the same bag system is also used in Modern Warfare 2’s PvPvE DMZ mode, though Henderson isn’t entirely sure about this particular point.
Obviously, even with Henderson’s record of true leaks, these details we have mentioned should be taken with a grain of salt for now, as, indeed, in the case of all unverified information coming from unofficial channels. As mentioned, Activision has said that Warzone 2 will be officially unveiled later in the year, so we should know soon how accurate this rumor is and whether any of these details have changed midway through development.
