Il new Ofcom Report revealed some details regarding UK consumer choices regarding streaming platforms. According to the data provided, during the last quarter, 4% of users canceled Prime Video or Disney + subscriptions while 2% gave up Netflix.
It should be noted, however, that there is an increase in the number of families that have activated all three streaming services. About a fifth of the British population, according to Ofcom Report data, has activated all three platforms at a cost of around 300 pounds per year (more than 350 euros).
Netflix is the most used service with the 60% of households who have an active subscription, ahead of Prime Video, with 46%, and Disney +, with 23%. Far behind are competitors such as Discovery + (8%) and Apple TV + (6%).
Note that public broadcasters in the UK experience a drastic decline in viewing (-9%). Furthermore, people over 65 are seven times more likely to watch TV than younger people.
