Meta’s Horizon Worlds app for the metaverse arrives in new countries
Meta has extended the availability of Horizon Worlds to the Spain and to France. The metaverse application is now available in more countries with the aim of further increasing its popularity after reaching 300,000 active users every month.
With this platform, Meta is building the foundations for its metaverse, the new focus of corporate activities. Mark Zuckerberg commented on the news stating: “I hope to see people explore and build an immersive world and to bring this innovation to more countries.”
With advertising revenue from social networks falling, Meta looks to the metaverse to relaunch its growth program. For the moment, user responses have been lukewarm but the company still aims to grow in the near future.
We will see when the app will also arrive in Italy.
