A user posted on the net some alleged images attributable to Silent Hill 2 Remake, not yet confirmed remake of the well-known title
It has been rumored for some time that Konami is working on refurbishments of some of its biggest IPs, and one of them is Silent Hill. Rumors have repeatedly stated that there are three new horror series games in development, one of which is allegedly a remake di Silent Hill 2 made by Bloober Team, the studio of The Medium and Layers of Fear, in the last few hours, moreover, some alleged images attributable to the title in question. Silent Hill 2 Remake: Are the images attributable to a game concept?
Recently, user @the_marmolade shared a number of new ones on Twitter images presumably from remake di Silent Hill 2. The screenshots themselves aren’t exactly exhilarating – they have extremely low resolution and the overall look isn’t what you’d expect from a modern AAA survival horror remake.

The interesting thing is that since then, the well-known insider Dusk Golem gave credibility to the leak that we report. Responding in a thread about the leaked images on ResetEra, the insider images are realalthough he added “they are not even close to the final product” and “what the final game looks like”.
According to Dusk Golem, these images come from a presentation that Bloober Team developed when Konami was accepting submissions on the project from a number of studios before production got the go-ahead and actually started construction.
It is noteworthy that recent reports have suggested that the long-awaited revival di Silent Hill it may soon be officially unveiled, though with three Silent Hill games presumably in development, it remains to be seen how Konami will choose to keep up with those announcements.
The Japanese giant has confirmed that it will announce a new game of a “series loved around the world” at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 later this month (although reports say it will likely be a remaster of Metal Gear Solid 1-3).
