Finally we can (m) or stop calling it “the sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild”, if the rumors on Nintendo Direct are true
You may not believe it, but one of the reasons we really hope for a Nintendo Direct soon is the possibility of putting an end to this unbearable pantomime, calling it with the right title il seguito di The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. There has been talk of the (still hypothetical) presentation for a while, but this return of Jeff Grubb (who else?) suggests that this could be a slap-up presentation. That it can unseat the triumph of last February, then, remains to be seen; certainly, however, Link’s new open world adventure will finally make its belated visit to the registry office. And it would be time.
Nintendo Direct and the long-awaited farewell to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2”
After having previously alluded to port of The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD, Grubb spoke in a recent podcast of a definitive name for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild “2” to be revealed in the next presentation. The Big N, for her part, said last year that she was playing face down due to the alleged revelations about the story and gameplay in the actual title. Bill Trinen of the American branch of the company claimed to “understand” if the trade press is satisfied with a trivial “2”. God forbid, we would add. We leave you to the podcast.
Now that the sequel is scheduled for spring next year, it is hoped that the Kyoto giant is preparing for the necessary raising of veils to kick off the marketing campaign. Returning to the speculative scene (with all the caveats on our part that it entails), Grubb expects to see the confirmation of another rumor. In fact, we could find, among the announcements, also that of the supposed remaster of Metroid Prime. As for the rumors about a Switch port of It Takes Two, the insider echoed them. Of course, the wait for any confirmations and potential denials shouldn’t be long.
