The Delaware court has rejected the request of Elon Musk’s lawyers to postpone the trial that will see Tesla’s number one pitting against Twitter. The process is the result of the agreement, then skipped, for the acquisition of the social network. A 44 billion dollar operation which, however. presents several obscure points that will need to be clarified in a courtroom and quickly.

The confirmation has arrived in these hours and represents a final decision. Elon Musk’s request to postpone the trial was denied. The date remains set for next October 17th, as previously foreseen. Musk wanted to postpone the start of the trial to the next month of November. The judge, Kathleen Jude McCormick, motivated this choice underlined how further delay would create additional damage to Twitter and could not, therefore, be justified.
It should be noted, however, that Elon Musk will be able to use in his trial against Twitter le latest statements from a source within the social network which highlighted the serious shortcomings in terms of security and privacy of the company. In just over a month, the fate of Twitter and the future of part of Elon Musk’s fortune will be decided in a courtroom.
