Meta is testing a new feature that makes Facebook and Instagram apps even closer. In fact, on Monday, Meta started implementing a new interface on Android, iOS, and the Web to make the switching between accounts. So let’s go find out something more.
From Facebook to Instagram the transition of the account became easier
Incredible news from Meta. If a user has added their Facebook and Instagram credentials to the same Account Center, they can now use a new function to “switch” from one App to another without going to the main phone screen, the multitasking menu or the App drawer A quick and easy step, plus the ability to view the count notifications in one place. But this is not the only novelty launched by Meta.

The company, in fact, is introducing a redesigned login and onboarding experience on Android and iOS. Those who do not have a Meta social account can now create one and use it to create others. For those who already have Facebook and Instagram accounts, however, it is now possible to use the login information associated with one App to access the other, although you must first add them to the same Account Center. In any case, Meta will notify users whenever they use an existing account to create a new one, or add one to the Account Center.

Additionally, security features such as two-factor authentication will continue to work, preventing attackers from using your Instagram credentials to log into your Facebook account.
