Less than a month to go until the release of Sonic Frontierswhich today announces an upcoming crossover with Monster Hunter. The game will be released on November 8, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The following week instead, on November 14a Free DLC which will consist of a crossover with Monster Hunter.
What do we know about the crossover between Sonic Frontiers and Monster Hunter
Give one official tweet by Sonic Frontiers (found below) we can see the first images of Sonic’s costumes related to the crossover.
According to our game guide, Sonic Frontiers will feature platform zones, on which Sonic will be able to take advantage of his distinctive speed to freely explore the environments of Starfall Islands. These are an archipelago of islands on which our protagonist finds himself. Sonic will find himself exploring Kronos Island. This is characterized by a rainy climate, characterized by impressive waterfalls, lush forests, mountains and towers suspended in mid-air. The ruins scattered across the island seem to house ancient inhabitants: the koco.
We therefore intuit that Sonic Frontiers will feature a vast open worldwhich will allow the protagonist to interact with the numerous activities scattered on the island as and when you want. In this way it will be the player who dictates the rhythms of the narration, imposing his own style on the videogame. Something totally new for fans of the old Sonic chapters.
