You already know how we feel about this, but if you want a chapter of the party saga on your console, skip Super Mario Party and its obsession with the already fragile Joy-Con. The premise of the series is always the same: roll dice on a board board gamehope that Lady Luck sends us good, and when it is possible to buy the various Job of the board with the coins earned during the game. At the end of each round, then, you compete in a random mini-game to compete for the coveted ten (or twenty, as the case may be) coins. What is not mentioned in the basic premise is that it is enough to get halfway through the first game to commit atrocities that can only be categorized as “the worst bastards”. Insults, delirium and laughter: Mario Party is this.
In fact, you get in the way not only in the mini-games, but also in the boards themselves. The first and second, as in The Top 100 on Nintendo 3DS, all come from previous installments in the series. The end result has a “clip show” aftertaste, but the inclusion of Superstars in the standings (thanks to the laughable competition from Super) says a lot about the type of selection carried out by the Grande N. All this, then, is also enriched by the possibility of tackling the mini-games by yourself, enriching the in-game museum by spending the accumulated total of stars and coins and, just to end up on someone’s blacklist, playing online. Amazing.
