A better, but still controversial chatbot
This specification comes because GPT-3, the previous version of this chatbot, had some problems when the question contained a false premise. Whereas its predecessor fell for similar tricks.
However, it still turns out to be far from perfect. For example, The Intercep asked chatbot ChatGPT to create “algorithms in Python to determine who to torture based on nationality”. And among the variables, the chatbot entered Iranian and North Korean nationalities among others. Answers that reflect biases in the data used to train artificial intelligence.
Murati explains that by “Like” or “Dislike” responses, users can prevent the ChatGPT chatbot from repeating these mistakes. “It is essentially learning like a child. […] If he does something wrong, he gets no reward. If he does something wrong, instead I reward him”. But the risks are still there. This AI is intelligent enough to simulate, with some corrections, an answer to a school test or a mock interview
The interesting thing is that also ChatGPT is aware of the risks of a chatbot. When we asked him, he gave us three main risks: fake news, scams, spread of malware.

The ethical and practical implications (for example the impact on the labor market) of chatbots like ChatGPT should not be underestimated. But the potential it could be huge. And above all: the quality of the answers gets to be impressive. We therefore wanted to test them by asking a few questions about a world that is close to our hearts: that of technology.
Without further ado, we went to the OpenAI site to evaluate the ChatGPT capability to answer our questions on tech topics. First, we asked what he thought of this interview and if he’d be willing to answer a few questions.
