The conductor died in Rome at the age of 84 years old. It is his press office that communicates it.
Maurizio Costanzo was born in Rome on August 28, 1938. Many television and radio programs bear his signature, and not only that, he has even signed theatrical comedies.
Worked in entertainment world in all its forms. In fact, Maurizio immediately nurtured the dream of being a journalist at just 18 he made his debut as a reporter for Paese Sera, then moved on to magazines such as Sorrisi e Canzoni and Grazia, until he became editor-in-chief of the latter. However, the printed paper was never enough for him.
He manages to reach the general public and the ultimate popularity by conducting the Rai talk-show Goodness to them.
Among his best known programs also figure Happy Sundaybut his name is mainly related to Maurizio Costanzo show broadcast on Mediaset almost continuously since 1982. It is the most important and long-lived media parlor of Italian television. Many television celebrities took their first steps on the Maurizio Costanzo show.
Maurizio Costanzo did not miss anything and also wrote numerous successful books and songs.
Private life of Maurizio Costanzo
The conductor was a football lover and big Roma fan. In fact, he was also the Communications Advisor of the Capitoline club for a period.
He married four times: in 1963 he married Lori Sammartini, fourteen years older than him, but ten years later he was already on his second marriage to the journalist Flaminia Morandi and Camilla was born in the same year followed in 1975 by Saverio. Fourteen years later he marries the TV presenter Marta Flavi. But his great love turned out to be Maria De Filippi with whom he has been married since 1995. Maurizio Costanzo was also grandfather of four grandchildren.
