During the just concluded Pokémon Presents, the teaser of a new stop motion animated series created in collaboration with Netflix was presented: here is Pokémon Concierge
Pokémon-themed TV series and animated films were daily bread for everyone born and raised in the 90s. During the last Pokémon Presents, which ended very recently, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company presented a new animated series featuring the most loved Pocket Monsters ever (in defiance of Digimon, sorry). Pokémon Concierge, this is the title of the animated series, was born from the collaboration between The Pokémon Company, Netflix (which will handle the distribution, of course) and Dwarf Studios.
Not many details have been revealed about the Pokémon Concierge, except that the protagonist will be Haru, a concierge (but go!) of a Pokémon Resort who takes care of the little monsters. The series will therefore tell the stories of Pokémon, their trainers and their adventures, all set in what appears to be a wonderful paradise resort. However, our interest has inexorably risen to the top for a single detail… in the meantime, we leave you with the trailer.

The series is in fact made entirely in stop-motion, a technique that has incredibly evolved over the last few decades and has gone to what we saw in Nightmare Before Chrstimas in 1993 (still a masterpiece) to Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio. In this way, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company aim to further expand the Pocket Monster universe, giving the whole an even more cadenced and bewitching charm. Our hype is really set high.
