The iOS development program continues: Apple has just released iOS 16.4 Beta 2 to developers. The new operating system update introduces several new features, destined to arrive shortly in the stable version of the operating system. Here’s what’s new:
iOS 16.4: Beta 2 is available for developers with several new features
With the new iOS beta, Apple takes a (partial) step back) introducing the “old” animation again which featured switching from page to page with a book of Apple Books. Users will be able to re-enable the previous animation with the new iOS version.
It should also be noted that the new app is referred to again in the iOS 16.4 code Apple Music Classical. That app will also require Apple Music to be installed. The debut of Apple Music Classical could only arrive with iOS 17.
The iOS 16.4 beta also confirms theApple Pay has arrived in South Korea. Korean users will be able to register the payment card within the app and use it for payments. Also note the introduction of ahe section, in the Settings, dedicated to Apple Care+ with a list of all your covered devices.
Among the novelties of the new iOS beta there is also one new Podcasts splash screen. A few are also worth noting minor changes to the settings of the Always On Display featureaccessible on iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
