In the past few hours, Prime Matter (Koch Media label) and Nightdive have announced a postponement for the System Shock Remake. In fact, if the two companies hoped to be able to release it by the end of March, this time window was too restrictive for them and they therefore had to move it. System Shock Remake will therefore arrive on PC on May 30th and, according to some reports, the game seems to really need these two additional months.
Sistem Shock Remake will combine the iconic gameplay of the original, which has now become a cult, with a decidedly improved graphics sector. There will also be an updated control system, an improved interface and a sound sector redesigned from scratch. In addition, the game will also have new enemies and some quality of life improvements. In the past few hours, Prime Matter has also disclosed the official requirements of the PC version, which we see in the next paragraph.
The minimum and recommended requirements of the PC version of System Shock Remake!
Below are the minimum requirements to run System Shock:
- Operating system: Windows 7/8.1/10 64 bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 | AMD FX-8320 o superiore
- Memory: 4GB RAM
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB | AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB o superiore
- DirectX: version 11
- Space Required: 2GB
Finally, below are the recommended requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 7/8.1/10 64 bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 | AMD FX-8350 o superiore
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB | AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB o superiore
- DirectX: version 11
- Space Required: 2GB
