In this article we are going to see the review of the Cyrusher Kommoda, a truly complete and amazing electric bicycle!
The Kommoda is just the latest addition to Cyrusher’s portfolio which truly has an endless array of choices.
This model in particular has been designed to guarantee greater mobility and also for those looking for a cycle of reduced dimensions but which still manages to give great satisfaction.
Shimano 7-speed gearbox, two engine variants, Fat wheels, adjustable forks and dynamic suspension. We will see this and much more in this review dedicated to the Cyrusher Kommoda electric bicycle.
Materials and Design | Cyrusher Kommoda review
The materials chosen for the construction of this electric bicycle are the mirror of the general quality. The metals used are resistant and ready to last over time.
All this quality, including the hydraulic brakes and the alloy front fork with 80mm of travel mean that the Kommoda electric bicycle is not very light to transport if it is not on a wheel.
As for the design, the choices are also evident from the photos. Although Fat wheels obviously have a function of facilitating transport, they also play a role, albeit marginal, in the aesthetic ecosystem. dfor our part we appreciate the aggressive but dynamic line of this Kommoda electric bicycle.
For colors we have the possibility to choose between four color variants: blue, grey, white and orange. Just the latter was chosen by Cyrusher for our review dedicated to the Kommoda electric bicycle.
Still speaking of aesthetics, we like the right balance found by Cyrusher between practicality and sportiness.
Packaging and assembly | Cyrusher Kommoda Review
Surely you will be curious to know what we find inside the package, the answer is not so obvious. Let’s start by saying that in the box of the Cyrusher Kommoda pedal assisted bicycle there is really all the essentials and even something more.
Once the bicycle has been taken out of the package, and one of the two wheels that remains disassembled (the front one), it is also possible to reach another small box that contains an entire set of Allen keys, two wrenches, the battery charger, the accelerator instructions and even a small pump to inflate the wheels without obviously forgetting the key to remove the battery.
Is assembly difficult?
The assembling it really takes less than thirty minutes if you have a little practice and if of course you follow the instructions.
The Kommoda pedal assisted bicycle arrives practically assembled inside the package.
What you have to do is simply remove the safety pin and then mount the front wheel. Once this small operation has been done, just loosen a few screws to adjust the steering, which due to dimensions is not in position, mount the front mudguard, remove the various films and protections before being able to charge your electric bicycle.
The assembly operations, as mentioned, are really simple and intuitive.
In some situations the instructions are not complete, for example it does not explain how to mount the front mudguard (the front light must be disassembled and fixed with the same screw) or it is still not explained that the handlebar must be adjusted.
In short, some steps, if very intuitive, are not explained in the slightest.

the technical sheet, as you can see, provides us with enough data on the general quality of the various components.
The electric bicycle is also supplied with an accelerator which, however, should not be mounted to maintain correct functionality for European legislation.
The latter can only be used on a private road but we reserve the right to do more in-depth research on the subject as information is constantly changing.
In order to be able to give a complete opinion, we have also assembled and tested this accessory, but we remind you that any tampering is punishable by law.
Usage and Performance | Cyrusher Kommoda review
We covered quite a few kilometers with our Cyrusher Kommoda and now we can tell you how we found ourselves driving it.
Let’s start with the more classic and less tech functions, such as gear changes, braking and everything concerning the purest bike side.
During our walks we deliberately set aside the technological features of our pedal assisted bicycle for a few kilometers. Partly out of scruple, partly because we believe it is good to put yourself in the shoes of someone who wants a hybrid experience or perhaps someone who simply asks the question: “What if it downloads while I’m out and about?”
During sessions without engine thrusts, the Kommoda behaves exactly like a normal bicycle. No extra effort and no superhuman effort to be able to go home again. Obviously there is always to consider the fact that the wheels are those of a fatbike and that a little extra weight given by the battery and engine make pedaling heavier but with the right gear you will have no difficulty.
I spoke of the right gear because the flagship of this bicycle is certainly the excellent 7-speed Shimano gearbox which allows us to choose the force to be exerted to make our bicycle move.
Braking is gentle but decisive thanks to the double disc brake and allows us to travel in total safety. Another fundamental point are certainly the shock absorbers which, despite being a bit stiff, allow us precise steering.
Let’s see the tech components
Obviously, if you choose to buy an electric bicycle, you do so in order to take advantage of all its features, which is why we are now going to get to know them all in detail.
The Cyrusher Kommoda as seen previously offers a 250W motor which develops 80Nm of maximum torque which translate into a maximum speed (self-limited) of 25 Km/hh.
To be able to choose between the 5 different speeds. Obviously, as the power increases with each single pedal stroke, a greater speed will be reached and equally naturally, as the power increases, the autonomy will decrease. The five speeds really allow you to choose how to take the road. If you decide to take a quiet and relaxing walk you can choose the low mode or the one called normal which will assist pedaling but without ever giving too much thrust, on the contrary if you are in a hurry or simply want to push a little you can choose one of the other three modes.
To be able to choose the intensity of the thrust given by the engine, it will be sufficient to use the two arrow buttons located next to the left knob exactly near the keys dedicated to controlling the lights and the bell (although calling it a horn is perhaps more appropriate given the scooter sound ).
The autonomy declared by the manufacturer is the actual one and with a recharge and a mixed power we were able to easily reach 70 kilometers with a full recharge. Speaking of the battery, it is good to know that it is removable but only with the supplied key.
A small mention also goes to the accelerator which is supplied in the package but which, as already mentioned, should not be used. The assembly of the latter is very simple. In fact, it will be enough to loosen the Allen screw of the right handle to be able to remove it and insert the accelerator. The connection with the electronic part is really very intuitive as it will be enough to remove the protective cap and connect the two cables (throttle one and the only one disconnected between the other instrumentation cables).
Who should buy this Cyrusher Kommoda
In conclusion, we are dealing with a very particular electric bicycle, but one that still convinced us. If we believe that such a particular shape is more suitable for a folding bicycle, we can say that its features have won us over.
The Kommoda is an electric bicycle for every day. It is suitable for walking around the town centre, to go to work or for a walk. Despite the wide wheels, however, we don’t feel like recommending it for off road. The shock absorbers are rather stiff and do not allow a comfortable descent even from the sidewalks and each hole returns an important recoil.
The assembly as well as the materials and the tech components convinced us. The price is in line with the market and although it is not accessible to everyone, we believe it is justified by the general quality of the product. The only flaw if we really want to play devil’s advocates is a slightly stiff saddle for the type of bicycle.
Cyrusher Kommoda is an excellent compromise for multiple uses and we are sure that it will make most people happy.
The kommoda can be purchased from the official Cyrusher store at the price of 1,999 euros.
