When Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was launched for Switch a couple of years ago, most fans of the series knew it was only a matter of time before its sequel even hit the Kyoto house hybrid. There had also been several leaks recently on the matter and the same was leaked thanks to a recent assessment by the ESRB and now we also have official confirmation: Ni no Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition will land on Nintendo Switch, we see all the details about it in the next lines of this article (release date included).

Publisher Bandai Namco has announced with a new trailer that Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition will be launched for Nintendo Switch in data September 17. In addition to the base game itself, the pack will also include both expansions of the game, The Lair of the Lost Lord e The Tale of a Timeless Tome.
Currently, Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is available for PS4 e PC. The game tells the story of Evan Pettywhisker Tildrum, the young ruler of Ding Dong Dell. Evan is overthrown by a coup and must rebuild a new kingdom by uniting the world. During his adventures, he will visit exotic locations, meet a large cast of characters, face dangerous enemies and meet many allies willing to help him.
His intrepid followers on this adventure include Roland, now, Stone, Lofty and natural phenomena Higgledies. Higgledies provide support during battles, including offensive and defensive buffs, increasing special attack power and assisting in the attack of enemies. There are 100 unique Higgledies to collect, each with their own special powers.
In our review on the Level-5 title we were able to define the same as a “beautiful game but not the best”, at the same time we appreciated the very personal graphic style of the production and the general amount of activity not sparing to criticize, however, the excessive ease of the game and the general recycling of other textures, for more details see here. Level 5 confirmed in 2019 that the next entry in the series was in development, but there have been no updates on that since.
