While the launch of Dead Island 2 is insistently approaching, there is also talk of Saints Row (here our complete review!), the reboot of the beloved series which did not see new chapters since Saints Row IV in 2013. Published last year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes, the game has a whole host of content planned for 2023 as well. And via press release, Deep Silver and Volition have unveiled the roadmap, sharing a whole series of rather interesting details. There will be three major content coming in the coming months for owners of the Expansion Pass of the game, two new free districts, three more quality of life updates and a cosmetic pack inspired by Dead Island 2 for all players.
Leading the charge is the free Dead Island 2 Pack releasing on April 11th. HELL-A meets the Weird West in this free content inspired by Deep Silver’s upcoming zombie massacre. Players can outfit their boss in items from swashbuckling anti-hero Jacob or witty jock Amy. They can also inflict shock and awe with a new weapon, use a swaggy new emote, and conjure up prickly memories on the beach with an iconic pink flamingo hat and Carver the Shark statue for their HQ.

After that, the biggest free update to the game is scheduled for May with Sunshine Springs, a brand new neighborhood added to Santo Ileso, along with a number of quality of life changes (such as overhauled combat, Selfie mode, and more) and improvements. On the same day, Expansion Pass holders will get The Heist & The Hazardous, three new story missions set in Sunshine Springs where the Saints embark on an ambitious heist for revenge after being duped by a famous actor…
The second content of the Expansion Pass will arrive in July; Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus, a new solo game mode that we will leave to your imagination, at the moment. In addition, this content will also add another free quality of life update and adding new features.
