In the past few hours, Square Enix has confirmed, complete with a release date, the prequel DLC of Forspoken, entitled In Tanta We Trust: let’s find out all the details together
Forspoken is a decent game, without infamy and without praise, which surely could have been more if it hadn’t been the umpteenth victim of a troubled and rushed development and wild marketing. Not for this Forspoken is a bad game, on the contrary, but the work of Luminous Productions has turned out to be, for Square Enix, a flop both from a commercial and critical point of view. Not only that: the bankruptcy of Forspoken also made Luminous Productions reabsorbed into Square Enix, after it had freed itself from it some time ago. Apparently, however, Square Enix has still decided to donate an expansion to Forspoken, entitled In Tanta We Trust. Not only that, in the past few hours the company has also unveiled the official release date, scheduled for next May 26 on PC and PS5, the platforms the base game is available on.

Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is a DLC that serves as a prequel to the story of the base game and is set 25 years before the story of Frey. We will return to play the role of our heroine, who is led, by a mysterious voice, to the Purge of the Rheddig, the decisive battle that devastated the land of Athia and caused the madness of the Tantas. Tanta Cinta will accompany her on this new journey and the expansion will add new abilities and a new map.
