Disney Plus: Crater officially cancelled, what’s going on?

It is recent news that Crater, the film released just a couple of months ago, has been officially canceled by Disney Plus: let’s find out all the details together in this dedicated article

There is a methodology of approach, among large companies, of questionable moral imprint, but widely spread for economic reasons: that of deleting one’s products from the platforms to save on taxes. And it just seems, even if the reasons have obviously not yet been made official by Disney itself, that Crater met the same fate for the same reasons. The film has in fact disappeared from the Disney Plus radar less than two months after its release and, currently, there is no way to legally recover the film.

Crater has disappeared from Disney Plus’ radar: but what would be the reason why it was cancelled?

The reason for the cancellation would be, according to some speculations, the possibility of companies “devaluating” their contentsthus reducing the amount of taxes to be paid annually. Obviously, productions that are in a certain sense “minor” or that have had a media impact below expectations, as could have happened to Willow or Y: The Last Man or, finally, Crater itself, are at the expense of it.

Crater is not a superb family sci-fi adventure, surely, but not so embarrassing as to merit cancellation. A children’s film, let’s say, that has managed to be appreciated almost globally by the mainstream audience and that perhaps deserved to remain in the Disney Plus film catalog long enough for everyone to experience it. Sin.

Crater was therefore canceled from Disney Plus: a real shame because now, legally, the film is no longer usable by anyone. Let us know what you think of this matter in the comments below and stay tuned with us at TechGameWorld.com for all the news on the subject of cinema and TV series!
