Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning is the sequel to the film dedicated to Digimon, of which the official trailer was released during DigiFest 2023
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning is the title of the sequel dedicated to the famous frinchise on digital creatures and the DigiFest 2023 is taking place in Tokyo in Japan these days. Many news and novelties have leaked from this festival and one of them is the official trailer of Digimon Adventure 02 and also an official poster.

This new title adds to a film series that saw six films within the Digimon Adventure series and then another film titled Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, from 2020. And this latest film is the only one that is was also distributed in Italian cinemas in 2021 with a special event. This sequel is placed in time just after the events of the last film and is inspired by the second season of the original series, or Digimon Adventure 02 aired from 2001 to 2002 in Italy. To be precise, this film starts ten years after the events of the series and therefore we will be able to see the adult protagonists, around twenty years of age. We can therefore review Daisuke, Miyako, Iori, Takeru Takashi, Hikari and Ken grappling with living with their existence made up of new responsibilities in managing their own Digimon. In this scenario, a new character will appear, Rui Owada, a mysterious man who claims to be the first human being to team up with a Digimon.
In Japan will be released in theaters on October 27, 2023 and in Italy the date is not yet known, indeed it is hoped that it will be distributed, given that only one of the new film series arrived in Italy with a special event. We just have to wait for some more news about it!
