Kingston today announced the launch of the IronKey Keypad 200C, a USB Type-C key with hardware encryption that promises security and convenience. This new device offers advanced data protection and compatibility with all USB-C devices.

The KP200C has a FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified military-grade security, under approval. The integrated alphanumeric keyboard makes access via PIN is quick and easy, regardless of the operating system of the device in use.
Hardware-based 256-bit XTS-AES encryption guarantees complete protection from unauthorized access attempts. The stick is also equipped with protection against Brute Force attacks and a solid defense against the so-called BadUSB attack, thanks to the digitally signed firmware.
An innovative aspect of the KP200C is the possibility of set multiple PINs, both for administrator users and for standard users. This means that an administrative PIN can be created to manage access to the unit, and if the user PIN is lost or forgotten, the administrator can easily reset it to allow access to data.
