“Jeff Goldblum has, uh, an announcement, uh, to make”: John Hammond’s disaster returns at Summer Game Fest 2021 with Jurassic World Evolution 2
Jeff Goldblum, who the English-speaking film fans remember for a slight speech impediment and that all of us in Italy know best for having been Ian Malcolm in the prehistoric saga of Spielberg, took the opportunity of Summer Game Fest to announce the trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 2. In fact, Frontier Development has released a video showing the game in action (although from a more cinematic point of view than anything else). As you may have guessed, Goldblum will return as a voice actor to give life to his most famous character (along with Thor’s Grandmaster: Ragnarok).
Jurassic World Evolution 2, a licensed bomb for the Summer Game Fest
Although this is a mostly cinematic trailer, the one for Jurassic World Evolution 2 has already involved the improvements basic that you can expect from any sequel, without taking anything away from the spectacularity of the Summer Game Fest. We can probably foresee more dinosaur species, better mechanics and additional campaign settings. Fans loved the first chapter (and so did we), so the foundation for building a great licensed title is all there.
As you can see from the trailer above, the management at least aim to do things big. The game is scheduled for this year on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X e Series S, PS4 ed Xbox One. Stay in the area for more, uh, updates in the future.
