The new iteration of the franchise dedicated to the most famous blue hedgehog of all time is now upon us. Sonic Superstars will arrive on October 17th on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch and PC. A new world from SEGA and Sonic Team that will allow you to tackle the adventure in local co-op with up to 4 players. In the past few hours, the developers have published a new animated short that fans can enjoy while waiting for the launch of the game. Sonic Superstars: Trio of Trouble is a prequel to the game!
The protagonists of the video are Dr. Eggman, Fan the Hunter and the newcomer, Trip, in a story that precedes Sonic Superstars. This prologue marks Fang’s debut in an animated video. While the trio wanders through dangerous ruins, Fang the Hunter will have to use all his cunning to put past mistakes behind him and escape the clutches of a ferocious new enemy. Meanwhile, Eggman will uncover what may be the key to his next evil plan.
As for Sonic Superstars, however, it will be possible to pre-order the standard editions, in physical or digital version, and the Digital Deluxe Edition of Sonic Superstarsahead of launch on the game’s official website to get the exclusive LEGO Eggman skin.
