Genoa-Verona: dove vedere la partita?

Braid: Anniversary Edition has a release date and trailer on PC and consoles

Tim took his time, but not anymore: let’s rewind the tape with the trailer for the release date of the Anniversary Edition of the legendary Braid

The developer Jonathan Blow has finally confirmed the exit date for the new coat of paint for his pupil, Braid: Anniversary Editionwith an unpublished trailer dedicated to the re-edition of the great classic. The game will release on PC, Netflix (yes, Netflix), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series April 30th. The new presentation video shows the improvements made to the graphics of the original released in “far” 2008. Each sprite was “redrawn by hand” by the artist David Hellman, to whom we also owe the version from fifteen years ago. And if you also loved the original in all its madness as much as we did, before we chatter further we’ll leave you with the trailer.

In the trailer the improvements are not limited to what the eye sees, given that the soundtrack (with the extraordinary violin of the multi-instrumentalist Shira Kammen) has been further improved, between remixes and rearrangements. The game will also enjoy over 15 hours of comments by the developer. The announcement of the remaster dates back to 2020, with a release expected the following year but subject to numerous postponements. The original Braid received quite a bit of praise at the time of its release, and it’s largely thanks to it that the indie scene on consoles boomed (before Shovel Knight!) when it came out on Xbox 360 in 2008. A year towards which we can’t wait to rewind time, and then do the same with the protagonist Tim.
