The next game from Larian Games, “positively scared” by the success of Baldur’s Gate 3, will be a sequel “far beyond many limits”
With eight nominations in as many categories including the Game of the Year crown at the Game Awards (along with Alan Wake II), we can say with certainty that Larian Games be very happy with the success of Baldur’s Gate 3especially given the implications for a sequel. The CEO Swen Vincke he called this “a real honor, especially in a year with so many releases.” And how can you blame him? “Seeing our ‘niche RPG’ gain such acclaim is very inspiring. I’d like to tell you more about our next big title, but this one [risultato] it’s encouraging us to push ourselves far beyond several limits, and I for one am thrilled.”

Sequel in the mystery for Larian Games: the encouragement of Baldur’s Gate 3
The role-playing game was released on PC in August and on PS5 in September, quickly gaining critical acclaim and, above all, far surpassing the sales that Vincke expected. The comments on the nomination for game of the year are almost unanimous: “Swen, you and your team started out like David and became Goliath,” wrote one user. Vincke’s response was, “Yes, it scares us – but in a good way, I think.” The developers seem intent on announcing a release date for the game on Xbox Series X ed Sas well as one physical version. “Xbox fans and body buffs, stay tuned for a formal announcement: it’s going to be a busy week.”
