Damsel: here is the first Italian trailer and poster for the Netflix fantasy adventure starring Millie Bobby Brown
In 2024 the very famous Millie Bobby Brown protagonist of Stranger things and Enola Holmes lands on Netflix as a princess fighting for her life against a terrifying fire-breathing dragon. Netflix has in fact made available a teaser trailer for the action-adventure fantasy Damsel featuring the protagonist Millie Bobby Brown in the role of a princess who fights a dragon without the support of a prince, and above all she reverses the stereotype of classic fairy tales, that of the Damsel in distress.

In the plot of Damsel, a damsel named Elodie (Millie Bobby Brown) agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover that what she finds herself in is not a fairy tale where dreams come true, but rather the precursor to an adventure nightmarish. In the marriage contract as they say there is the trick: the royal family recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt owed by the kingdom. Thrown into a cave with a terrifying fire-breathing dragon, Elodie must rely only on her wits and will to survive. The cast also includes Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter e Olli Ackermann.
The film is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) and is written by Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans). The director directed his latest feature film, the horror film Intrudersin 2011. In the meantime he has directed episodes for the TV series Falling Water and Salvation, the fantasy TV film Prototype and the short 4X, Fresnadillo is currently attached to the Disney live-action remake The Sword in the Stone, a project currently in the development.
