The mutant changes his underwear and jacket: Biomutant surprisingly joins the “impossible ports” for Nintendo Switch complete with trailer
With publishers once again in the grip of abandonment fever towards the Big N, we too would have thought that the era of “impossible ports” for Nintendo Switch was behind us, but with the trailer dedicated to the conversion of Biomutant we had to think again. The game, in time for a new trip around the sun by the writer, will be released on 14 maggioas announced by the publisher THQ Nordic. In reality, the title made an appearance among various retailers’ inventories in September 2022, but was not officially announced until last May. And we had even forgotten about it, but the passage of time has not stopped the game from Experiment 101 to proceed with its gestation in a hybrid format. A mutation, if you will.
The Biomutant trailer for Nintendo Switch
Defined as “an open-world post-apocalyptic fairytale kung-fu RPG”, Biomutant will bring its mixture of martial arts, mutant powers and firearms, as the trailer reminds us. Months before after the release on PC, PlayStation e Xboxhe publisher Embracer Group (Tomb Raider I-III Remastered) stated that the game recouped its development costs in its first week on the market. Subsequently, the title exceeded one million copies sold. Critics were certainly not of the same opinion as the public, with an emphasis on the “ace in every aspect, master in none” factor that clips its metaphorical (or not?) wings. Ironically, the game didn’t show up at the recent Partner Showcase.
