The next chapter of the horror anthology The Dark Pictures Anthology could be called The Devil in Me according to a copyright filing
We know that Bandai Namco e Supermassive Games have been making a horror anthology called The Dark Pictures Anthology. This year the third chapter called House of Ashes will be released, but in the meantime, details on the possible fourth episode appear. Apparently, according to a recently registered trademark, the next title could be called The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, although there has not yet been an official confirmation.
The next chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology saga could be The Devil in Me
According to what was discovered by the registration of the name and logo, it seems almost certain that The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is actually the fourth installment of the horror saga created by Supermassive Games. The developers have indeed filed both the name and the logo to be recorded, but still neither them nor Bandai Namco have confirmed anything about the possible fourth title of the saga. The horror anthology currently has three titles to its credit: Man of Medan, Little Hope released last year and House of Ashes scheduled for October this year.
The titles are of horror adventures where the player has the destiny of the characters in hand, in fact each story has multiple endings in which all the protagonists could survive or die. Supermassive Games had revealed that he had plans for eight titles in this anthology, and the eventual The Devil in Me would be the fourth incarnation of the saga, if confirmed, with a probable release for the 2022 given the current annuality of the series.
