What is the expected date for the next Bitcoin halving?
The halving occurs every four years, and this year, the expected date was late April or early May. In reality, however, more recent estimates place it in the time frame from 13 to 18 April, so really soon. Following this year's halving, the reward a miner will receive for his “work” will drop from 6.25 to 3.125.
