Guilty Gear Strive’s roster of playable characters expands with Goldlewis Dickinson, the first United States Secretary of Defense and active soldier. The fighter will be available from July 27 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. Passionate about jazz, Goldlewis possesses great leadership skills which he uses to maintain US stability and influence.

Guilty Gear Strive begins expanding its range of playable characters with Goldlewins Dickinson, which arrives in game as part of the game’s first season pass. The Secretary of Defense will also be available for purchase individually, if you were only interested in him.
We take this opportunity to remind you that Strive is the latest addition to the Guilty Gear saga, in effect the fourth chapter of the events narrated. The game is configured as a piacchiaduro as complex in mechanics as it is simple to approach at first and makes accessibility its real strength. Strive is in fact an excellent entry point for new players, also thanks to a very rich tutorial mode.
The title suggests a long series of single player missions specifically designed to teach the basics of combat and a large multiplayer sector, in which it is possible to climb a global ranking structured like a large building in pixel art. There is also the story mode which, in this chapter, takes the form of a long series of in-engine movies, designed to conclude the events set out in the previous game.
The character will be available to players who own the Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 1 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam from 27 July. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has reported that the game has exceeded 500,000 units sold worldwide.
