A Quiet Place: Day One, prequel resulting from an expansion of the world conceived by John Krasinski, changes date: it will be available in cinemas starting from March 2024
The prequel to A Quiet Place it was originally scheduled for the September 22, 2023ma la Paramount Pictures has decided on a new release date, more in line with the theatrical releases of John Krasinski’s previous two films, on March 8, 2024.
A Quiet Place: Day One, the prequel to the saga
Of A Quiet Place: Day One we know very little: the film will follow the vicissitudes of the Abbott family. We almost know for sure that there will be no protagonists from previous films Emily Blunt e John Krasinski, as the film will follow different characters at the beginning of the alien invasion we all know. Despite this lacktheir appearance with cameos is not excluded: Paramount intends to create a real franchise on this saga.
Returning to Day One, Krasinski even if he will not participate in the film as an actor, remains linked to the project as a producer. Together with him we find Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, with Allyson Seeger serving as executive producer. The project was started in November 2020 under the direction of Jeff Nicholswhich he abandoned after a year giving way to Sarnoski (reduce yes Pig con Nicholas Cage).
The franchise of the successful Krasinski saga

After the news of his prequel, we already know that A Quiet Place Part III is officially in the works and set to see the light in theaters in 2025. The announcement was made by the director and creator of the horror franchise John Krasinskion Paramount Investor Day.
