Filming continues on the new Netflix production TV series entitled ACAB – The Series in a prison in Velletri, in the province of Rome
In recent days, the city of Velletri in the province of Rome, amidst the curiosity of its citizens, has been affected by the arrival of a major television production. A caravan similar to film productions stopped in the city to shoot some scenes of the film new TV series produced by Netflix currently announced with the title ACAB La Serie.
The cameras were turned on near the town hall, more precisely in the former Papal Prison. The structure of the former Veliterno prison, so full of history and mystery, was the fulcrum of filming for ACAB La Serie, the new six-episode serial project produced by Cattleyapart of ITV Studios, directed by Michele Alhaiqueknown for his previous series such as Thou Shalt Not Kill, Romulus and Bang Bang Baby.
ACAB – The Series: filming continues
The cast includes prominent names such as Marco Giallini, Adriano Giannini, Valentina Bellè, Pierluigi Gigante and Fabrizio Nardi. The series, a true crime, is inspired by the book of the same name by Carlo Bonini, published in Italy by Giulio Einaudi Editore, and adapted in 2012 for the film ACAB – All Cops Are Bastards by Stefano Sollima, who serves as executive producer in this new project. With a compelling and current plot, the series, whose name has not yet been made official, promises to capture the public's attention with a story set in a Rome shaken by ferocious clashes and social tensions.
The arrival of a production of this magnitude in the province of Rome has aroused great pride among the municipal leaders and the population, who were also partly intrigued by it all.
