Acer, after announcing the continuation of the collaboration with Sauber Motorsport throughout 2021, presented the “Kimi’s Creator Challenge”, an international initiative with a charitable purpose
With this further collaboration, with the contribution of the official driver Kimi Raikkonen, Acer continues to demonstrate its commitment as an active protagonist in the sports world; both traditional and eSport. The challenge is open to all creators, challenge yourself to design running shoes which will be worn by Raikkonen during one of the next weekends of the Formula One Grand Prix. Following the shoes will be auctioned, in support of the children’s rights organization: Save The Children.
How to participate in Acer’s Kimi’s Creator Challenge
Participants can download the guidelines and a template from the official landing page of the initiative and upload the design created on the site itself. The three best projects they will be chosen in an online vote, while the final winner will be decided by a jury made up of the famous driver and manager Acer, Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN and Sparco.
Sparco will take care of producing and donating the winning shoe; after this was worn by Kimi Raikkonen during a race weekend. It will be signed and auctioned together with a notebook ConceptD 7, to raise funds for Save The Children. Finally the judges they will announce the winner in mid-June, who will receive a ConceptD Creator Studio as a prize.
The three most voted designs they will be judged by a jury composed of Frederic Vasseur, Team Principal of ALfa Romeo Racing ORLEN; Hajo Blingen, Vice President Marketing, Acer Europe; Daniela Vignale, Motorsport Manager, Sparco; and by Kimi Raikkonen.
The final graphics will be evaluated based on various criteria, such as originality, emotional impact, aesthetics and the possibility of realization. The challenge will be active in 15 countries and special promotions will also be offered on Acer ConceptD products, present on the official national Acer Store. Participants will be able to upload their shoe designs between May 21 and June 1, 2021.
