All About NBA 2K23 Season 4: Kicking Off January 13

Tomorrow, January 13, 2023, Season 4 officially begins NBA 2K23 which will introduce new playable content but also new songs, which will be added to the soundtrack and in Club 2K. The new Season will also be characterized by the celebrations for the All-Star Game, which will take place in real life on February 19th, but what better opportunity to play in game too? It is no coincidence, in fact, that the All-Star is among the protagonists of Season 4 Zach LaVine dei Chicago Bulls.

NBA 2K23: All the news of Season 4

Below is all the content announced for Season 4 of NBA 2K23, including All-Star rewards in the City (PlayStation 5 – Xbox Series X|S) and on The GOAT Boat (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC). As for the individual modes instead:

  • MyCAREER: New content for players to unlock as they move up the reward ladder, including a remote control drone with warp abilities that players can earn by reaching level 40.
  • MyTEAM: Multiple two-week events that combine Agendas, Challenges, and Locker Codes for a Galaxy Opal player card to complete its collection. Plus, two-time All-Star Zach LaVine takes center stage as a Level 40 reward and participates in the new Signature Challenge alongside his team, the Chicago Bulls.

  • The W: New rewards ranging from logo cards to 2KBreakthrough skins to clothing packs and more. Also on the way are 60 WNBA player jerseys in the City and the GOAT Boat in MyCAREER. Finally, Season 4 brings to the field: Erica Wheeler, Nneka Ogwumike, Tiffany Mitchell e Kelsey Mitchell. We remind you that the W Online mode is only available on new-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S).
  • 2K Beats: 10 new songs from the Soulection roster plus Soulection Supply apparel to celebrate their 12th anniversary. The “NBA 2K Producer Series” also adds backing tracks from famed producers Bizness Boi and Big Duke, allowing players to record their verses over them as they play and share them on social media using the #NBA2KProducerSeries.

In our review of NBA 2K23 we read:

“The introduction of new modes, with a focus on simulating specific sports eras, will delight NBA basketball fans and nostalgics. Those who prefer to identify themselves in the life of a young promise will be able to make their own choices (with the relative consequences) in the City of MyCAREER. Finally there’s everything from 2K23 TV to the creation tools. Elements that give the game the taste of a real basketball hub. The displeasure remains for the MyTEAM microtransactions. A disappointment, like a free throw that hits the iron and goes wide, ruining a perfect game.”
