Google Meet renews: up to 500 participants in a meeting
The Google Meet App is renewed by adding some interesting functions that can better meet the needs of remote workers from all over the world. Not surprisingly, now the platform allows you to welcome up to 500 participants inside a room, even doubling the old limit of 250 people. “We hope that increasing the maximum meeting size will make it easier to connect and collaborate with colleagues, customers and consumers,” the tech giant commented on the recent changes to Google Meet. On the other hand, the fact that more and more companies are adopting smartworking has forced platforms such as Zoom and Meet to optimize their performance.
Microsoft, for example, has already expanded the number of government users in the United States who can join a meeting via computers to 25,000. And Zoom has set the maximum number of users who can connect to a room at 1000 by subscribing to the “Large Meetings“ package.
